Do we really need a trending topic for each individual sports game? Can trending not be tied to Interests? I purposely didn't choose sports or politics, but I've long-since accepted that I can't escape the politics. Now sports is steamrolling even the politics

Charged and decided to change my plans from going to Chattanooga to wandering downtown

Wandered downtown Telico Plains which was nice but super small. Wandered downtown Madisonville which was eh. Wandered downtown Sweetwater and really like it... and they had ice cream

I love the Cherohala Skyway, but it was cold and foggy first thing in the morning with lots of debris washed across the road from the rain Tuesday night

Didn't do much posting the last couple days. Thursday was a very lazy, do nothing day, so no Adventuring other than a quick trip out for dinner. Wednesday, though, was a good day.

But something like this should have it's own hardwired connection and do direct payment without the app

Maggie Valley Rivian Waypoint that took 10 minutes to get started because of show Internet

Last year I thought Rivian's waypoint network was awesome. This year, not so much. Don't mind paying for charge, but by these stations are in less trafficked locations... locations with less than stellar cell signal. Why do I have to use an their app to start charge over the Internet?

I'm rather impressed with bsky. I logged into FB yesterday to respond to the annual deluge of birthday wishes, but since I was only in there a few minutes and here the rest of the day, I didn't see the Miss Congeniality(?) 25 April screencap at all all day. Does it not exist here? Not complaining

And, it was so fast my car didn't even fully cool off even though the temp was below freezing when I arrived. Definitely worth the almost three month wait and waking up for a 7:15 appointment

And, she was able to remove the Corrective Lenses restriction that got put there when I got my moto endorsement because I happened to be wearing my (not required for driving) glasses for my written test and didn't realize that was going to cause it to be added

Mission Accomplished! No sarcasm, in-person license renewal at Concord, NC DMV was downright pleasant. Genuinely enjoyed talking with the lady helping me. She seemed to really enjoy her job, not just put on a face

...but I'm glad I don't have to do it again for another 16 years

The worst was back on FB asking if anyone wanted to go see a movie or something to get out of the house. Get all excited that someone else was looking to get out too... only to realize that it was still just me

It's always such a weird feeling to be scrolling along and a sentence, sentiment, photo, whatever comes along that makes you think, "Hey, they [think, say, have, took a picture] like my post I made yesterday" before realizing it's your own post coming up in the feed
