I have finished the large crochet chicken

The original finished crochet chicken made of varigated pink/purple/orange yarn. She sits in a nest made of the same kind of yarn but in blue/purple. There are two mini chickens in her yarn colors, and one in a rougher orange yarn sitting around her. She is about ten inches in diameter

The first time i followed this pattern, i made it at it's usual size- i definitely like the felted yarn i used the first time more, but the big one looks like Skulk haha.

A crochet chicken - orb shaped, low detail- sitting on a kitchen table. The yarn is charcoal and teal, and it has an orange beak. It is a little bigger than a basketball or about a foot in diameter.

I've been teaching myself to upscale this crochet pattern from Oak & Marlow- it's such a nice lil pattern to learn on! Right now she's WIP but I'm enjoying the chonk chicken. The next step will be a beanbag bottom for weight :)

if online is fine, lindley general store is a canadian 'quilt' shop that also carries cross stitch and other fibre arts supplies, and if you don't mind going downtown, Dressew is still open and still has notions in that category (downstairs)

otherwise, michaels does carry it at various locations in various quantities, but i get possibly wanting to shop more locally.
