First, let me state that the EMI is very real. I've read that EVs donβt have AM radios and some donβt even have FM radios due to the EMI.
Also, I've never been in a modern EV. Iβm not an engineer.

I'm under the impression that EVs radiate a lot of EMI. If that is so then I'd wonder about the shielding.
Am I mistaken about the high EMI from EVs? Is the shielding protecting the control electronics from the EV itself and to hell with the AM (and FM?) radio and the surroundings?
