final addendum as i got to go at night, most pikmin are left in the dark but these look pretty cool! (this is also with the mist effect broken so it will look even better when that’s working)

-the berry that the ones carry in the yoshi’s adventure queue is currently present but no pikmin yet
-almost half of these were installed within the last two weeks
-the ones in/out of the store interestingly are unique molds, they don’t exist in USJ or USH

couple tidbits:

-epic has the most pikmin out of all the parks with the inclusion of the ones in the nintendo super star store
-most figures are almost in the exact same spot but seem to have been intentionally moved a little so that you can get much closer to them (USJ vs Epic)

(the ones getting crushed by the boulder in the DK arcade mural are present but the express queue does not get to see it. but it’s identical to USJ’s)

EXCLUSIVE (unless somehow this was someone else’s top priority): all pikmin currently in universal epic universe (thread)

(Also please don't let the only fan game I have allowed myself to get hyped for get cancelled. Thankfully it seems to be a solo dev and he's regularly giving updates on new stuff so hopefully there can't be any drama or whacky shenanigans lol)

But no real gripes, only points off is just demo jank and stuff like a lot of sounds being reused (something I also assume will change at full release)

Tried 2 before this after watching Dawko's 1st ep on 3 but this is basically a remake so dropped it (also made in Scratch lol)

Character mechanics are kind of a mixed bag, I find ones like W. Freddy to be way too demanding which kind of goes against the gimmick imo. T. Freddy also seems like he is designed to be Death Coin'd which is lame, I have no idea how you could do him legit on harder difficulties.

Biggest thing this has going for it is the super charming art style. The office setup is pretty simple, it's basically the 3 office + 1 doors + 6 vents. To compensate, it adds the gimmick of choosing your own roster, where you get choose the characters to salvage for next night.

13. Five Nights at Frickbear's 3 (Demo) - 8.5/10

Kind of beautiful that when this fully releases we're going to have to tout a game called "Frickbear's" as one of the best fangames. But I guess we did that with DSAF more or less.

Also I adore that Trash and the Gang are incredibly plot relevant and prevalent throughout presumably because they are literally trash and easy to make/move around lol.

Very weird that Circus Baby is played by a person though.

12. First Night at Freddy’s: A FNAF the Musical Movie - 6.5/10

Largely incomprehensible but clear time and love was put in. Highlight is by far Glitchtrap, all his dialogue is so bad that it’s good. Ground Zero is the only song I somewhat enjoyed and it is the opening 😭

11. Ernest & Celestine - 8.5/10

Incredibly charming and cozy, yet simultaneously fairly depressing lol. The premise is nothing special but it’s presented in such an interesting lens that it manages to make it feel unique. Phenomenal score and love some beautiful 2D animation.

Honestly, very whatever season (and seemingly series) finale. I think the first half and its midseason finale were just so well done that this just felt much lower stakes/impactful in comparison.

“Ride Along” was my probably my favorite of this batch, very funny.

Enjoyed how this handled Lunella and her relationship with her family evolving. My only real gripe is that after they work through each family member, it feels like they kind of ran out of steam before wanting to set up the finale so we get a couple cliché/filler eps in-between.

10. Moon Girl and Devil Dinsoaur (2nd half of S2) - 8/10

Really depressing how Disney has mishandled this by both a cutting episode and giving it a terrible release schedule but thankfully the show still holds up.

9. Parisian Romance - 8/10

I always really enjoy Lofi Girl’s seasonal stuff and I’m pretty sure this was the first Valentine’s Day themed one? Very cute and chill vibes, I also appreciate how many artists get featured on these. “When I fell for you.” is my favorite.

Also the lore for this album is insane??? It was genuinely written for plants and only distributed through a single houseplant store and a Sears. Wasn’t made available through streaming services until 2019, even though it released in 1976.

8. Mother Earth’s Plantasia - 8.5/10

Really unique sound, especially for its time. Scratches a retrofuturistic vibe for me. Pleasant mix of somber, cosmic sounding songs and just very goofy ones, “Plantasia” compared to “You Don’t Have to Walk a Begonia” highlights this well.

Probably better off running back a couple tracks occasionally than regular album listenings.

“Michan Going To The Hoikuen” also really annoys me lol. There’s a couple of really cool parts but so much of it is random dialogue and noises.

“In The Space” is the closest it gets after but it dips in and out, “Motion” is fine too. This puts this album in a weird position where it is a couple of bangers intermixed with pleasant (and sometimes just kind of weird) background noise.

7. Optical Sunrise/Spectrum2 - 7/10

This is a weirder album which usually means it grows on me but this one has become stagnant. “F L Y” is absolutely phenomenal but the rest of the album just doesn’t feel like it tries remotely as hard as it.
