It hasn't made much of a splash. For progressives, it doesn't go far enough, and for conservatives, it's too far left, and since I'm an unknown, it just hasn't had much traction yet. I'm just hoping some pastors find it and are challenged to change their preaching.

It's true for every worldview: The more "fundamental" your worldview is, the more firmly you can rely on it, and the more aggressively you can judge others by it. Fundamentalism is incredibly comforting.
It's just not Christlike.

None of us can call ourselves "biblical" as if we are fully encompassing everything the Bible teaches. At most, we can say we are striving to be biblical, but even better than that, we should strive to be Christlike.

The temptation toward judgmentalism is one of the fundamental temptations of all who claim to know the truth. Christians are not immune. Watch yourself. And show grace to others. Yes, even with THOSE people (whoever THOSE are to you).

Jesus reserved his harshest critiques for those who knew the Scriptures best, because the temptation for any Bible teacher is to put a burden on others without helping them carry it.

We evangelicals often think that wrong doctrine will keep you out of heaven. However, Jesus, Paul, and the other NT writers all tell us that greed and selfishness will keep you out of heaven.

The greatest problem the people of God ever have is idolatry. Not the overt kind where you abandon God and adopt some rival god. Not the obvious kind where you add an extra god to your personal list and share your religious time between shrines....
Not even the visible kind where you construct a physical object and bow down to it. Those idolatries exist, but they have never been the most troublesome....
The real idolatry has always been this: Thinking this or that is the true representation of God. Worded more personally, it goes like this: I know what God is like....
Do you have words to describe God? Fine, you probably should, but you should probably realize that your definition for each of those words is inadequate.
Remember that God is even bigger than you have yet imagined. It's why the angels sing, Holy, Holy, Holy. Translated to our words today, they might as well be singing: Beyond, Beyond, Beyond!
Your idea of God is too small.
