🧵 NEWS: Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) has introduced proposed legislation to prevent asset managers from voting on DEI-related shareholder proposals.

Cruz introduced a bill after shareholders of 30 out of 30 corporations voted to reject anti-DEI proposals, most by 99-1%.
