The face-pulling drives me mad, though. However, there's a live version of Dirty Boy from Camden 2003 on youtube and it's, frankly, amazing. It's that kind of thing that makes me persevere but I have to admit that it's a struggle

I've done absolutely loads now. 70s paranoia and conspiracy movies are absolutely the best. Obv the Pakula 3, but also China Syndrome, I for Icarus (wow!), Invasion of the Bodysnatchers... so many! I'm in heaven :)

I have never worked so hard at liking a band than I have for Cardiacs. For every one song I like, five that drive me mad but I keep plugging away hoping it'll click for me one day!
