If the signal to the booster is crap, it will boost crap. It can't improve the signal. To get the booster to boost a good signal it needs to be closer to the signal than you are.

To boost a WiFi signal you need the booster to be closer to the signal than you are. It picks the signal up and amplifies it so it's stronger where you are.

Signal booster would need to be closer to the WiFi signal to boost it into your flat. Can you get it 1 floor down?
Otherwise you can use a 5g to WiFi device with a suitable SIM plan. That takes a mobile signal and turns it into WiFi, if the mobile signal is ok.
