As an old timer said to me a long time ago at a pub on that vicinity, "the more you put on, the more you'll get back".

'Throw the kitchen sink at it': NBN Co fast-tracked upgrade for Bolt Senior managers at the National Broadband Network intervened to accelerate a home internet upgrade for News Corp pundit Andrew Bolt and resolve a technical problem for a top executive's friend during ...

This is some story.
After Andrew Bolt announced he was leaving Melbourne "for good" due to his Covid tantrum etc, the taxpayer-owned NBN Co arranged a special high-speed internet connection for Sky News at his Mornington pad so he could broadcast his bile from home...

In a waiting room this morning with 774 on the radio. Plenty of panic calls about security guards in the city from folks who only go beyond the white picket fence to put the bins out.

'Get rid of the migrants or I'll become a migrant' is quite the argument

Hoping he gets another gig too, just couldn't catch a run of luck for a while.

That said wonder if he's a fraction too slow for AFL?*

*Said the same thing about Ben Cunnington when he was a youngster. Egg, face etc

To an extent, but we've noticed a few sites in the US are paying more for parts and service for medical equipment they source from outside. One company passed it on as a line item for us to pay, they got rid of it when we quired but it'll be back one way or another when the renewal comes in.

I was watching some news station today in a waiting room, it amazes me how many Americans (or perhaps just the ones they had a microphone in front of) don't see that it's them, the consumer, that pays that tariff

If you copied and pasted Fairfax and The Australian to remove the masthead, you'd be pressed to pick which is which. Agenda driven drivel devoid of research and critical thought.

Premier’s tone-deaf response to a city crying for help Any politician attuned to the public mood should understand Melbourne has had a gutful, but our premier seems unable to even identify the problem.

It must be exhausting being Homer. If he took a walk outside and spoke to someone outside his office of willing head nodders, he might enjoy what the rest of do away from Sydney internet validation

Late scratching today due to Little Mick Nolan's refusal to nap and resulting melt down. When Arden Station opens days like today will be 400% easier to get there.

Didn't Napoleon fund an award for someone that could come up with a butter substitute to feed his armies? Trying to imagine a French army being told no to butter, cheese and wine

The old comedian had nice things to say about one of these guys and not so nice things about the other. Given events this week, you can probably work out who was who.

Also heard from someone who claims they met Matt King at a club in the Czech Republic and that he was more Super Hans in real life than on Peep Show. I'm fairly certain that guy was full of it, but I want to believe it so much.

I heard that a while back from an old comedian, they met while Super Hans was working pub kitchens and Jimeon was hussling cash washing windscreens at intersections.

ICE is repulsive, but I'd be all for state sponsored deportation to Queensland for anyone that orders a "Parmi" during the $20 Thursday Parma Lunchtime Special at the pub near work.

Thanks Age. My Aunt gave me 1st dibs buying her Brunswick home back in the day before going to auction. Despite the fact at the time my loan eligibility would have barely covered half the asking price, articles like this hammer home what slipped through my fingers. Be better 24 year old me.

About 75% of Chris Philp's conference speech so far - and we are 10 minutes in – has been about crimes committed by migrants. You'd think that's all they ever did, rather than work in hospitals, care homes, merchant banks etc etc etc.
