In addition to the mess at the CDC, FEMA workers have been suspended in retaliation for speaking up. This makes the US a sitting duck for any kind of disaster as the front line agencies who are meant to protect us from them are completely dysfunctional.

I work w/ someone who's developed some memory & retention issues since their Cov19 infections a cpl years ago. I doubt they are even aware of it at all, or that anyone else has noticed. Covid has been such a massive failure of public heath, among other things. This virus is still disabling and killing people and so many people think it became magically milder in 2022.

I love how even the smart analysts I work with conveniently forget that *unrelenting economic pressure from private industry* was the driving force behind 2022's Urgency of Normal to drop masks, end telework, & whitewash the neverending "cold/flu season" & "wow another 40yo just had a heart attack"

It is dangerous for the National Guard to be deployed in residential areas — for people here, for Guard members themselves, and for the communities back home which they are supposed to serve.

Armored tactical vehicles should not be on city streets.
