I really appreciated this documentary and a return to fly-on-the-wall observation. I know that no piece of media is produced in a vacuum, but the opportunity to sharpen the critical eye is a very welcome change.

My (least) favorite was the very bizarre and clunky mention of Celsius in the color commentary. No way that wasn't placement for additional pay.

Last I heard he's in talks, and he posted a clip reel with the Cranberries Linger and no caption while nearly exclusively liking comments that say they hope he stays. It's pretty ambiguous and cryptic af.

Kessler went full Taylor Swift and posted a cryptic music video on IG. Can't post the link because I don't have IG (someone played it for me).

Watched Are We Good? last night. Much of the post screening conversation was about what Maron does next, if he can really stay away. Especially since the pod seemed to anchor him.

So listening to the new WTF episode today was a bit of a gut punch. Just sobbed.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm not really interested in any merch drops until we've had a successful transfer window.

You really want a specific argument, but it's not the one I'm making even though you assume it is. Keep shopping around, you'll find someone who is, I'm sure.

It ceases to be a discussion when you bring nothing to it. You expected me to just swallow "I used to be a journalist," and when I didn't, you just reverted back to the last thing you said, with which I still disagree. Again, if you have anything new to add, go ahead. If not, move on.

I mean, my issues are with degrading journalistic integrity and sloppy standards. "I was a journalist for a long time," is not an inherent defense. Neither is citing the NYT as a paragon of virtue.

Look, you don't have to care or even understand the issue. Word choice is part and parcel of journalistic integrity. Headlines should be easily interpreted by even, to use your term, the stupidest people. That's the point.

The thing is, though – record aside – this is the least community-centered the team has felt. It seems to be completely without identity, let alone representative of St. Louis.
