That kind of loyalty has to be earned over years and decades and the Democrats piss away any goodwill they earn literally every time they have a trifecta trying to outflank the Republicans to prove they're not secretly communists.

It doesn't quite add up that Dems and their die-hard lib supporters expect every victim of GOP policy to just be part of their personal army given the Dems treat most of them like cannon fodder and/or bargaining chips when they're the incumbent party.

When people cry "fake leftist" they probably mean he's a reformist, not a revolutionary.
