Saying such words with a smile on your face is so dystopian. It's difficult to comprehend.

Bethesda Declaration — STAND UP FOR SCIENCE Support NIH Staff Now!

I urge everyone to read & sign the NIH's Bethesda Declaration. There are many chilling aspects of the draconian, shortsighted, and illegal cuts, but the worst are the cancelled trials that have left patients without care in the midst of treatments www.standupforscience.net/bethesda-dec...

We are no longer updating it as the time and resources to do so became too high and we were no longer seeing impact of TOP Factor replacing other metrics. We're investigating ways to continue toward that goal and will post about it soon. Meantime... feel free to use data as you wish!

It is thrilling to announce that Lifecycle Journal is open for submissions. Come and try out this reimagining of scholarly communication that meets researchers' needs in the current system and opens the door to an innovative, values-aligned, community-led system for the future.

Amazing talk on wrongful convictions by @barbobrien.bsky.social last night! Love learning from different fields.

This slide got me, the majority of exonerations occur due to perjury/false accusations (orange) or official misconduct (purple).

The purpose of the field is to increase awareness of how many total pubs are made from any given dataset. It is possible that reviewers will follow the links (they may feel they need to know how much prior analysis has been done), in which case they would be obligated to let editor know

26.06.2024 19:43 — 👍 1    🔁 0    💬 1    📌 0

That's a good question. I'd recommend: This prereg will be shared anonymously, I am disclosing the following pubs in the interest of complete transparency, in order to maintain annymty do not follow while if participating in double blind review. DOI, DOI, DOI.

Yeah I think that would be really neat- preregs are definitely the right opportunity to get that feedback
