If I don't out read you, you scare me... but I also want to be best friends. 2025 goal: review more books I accidentally wrote a book and now I can't seem to stop! I like to try new things, up next: crochet
I shall add to my TBR, it looks great, thanks!

These were cute, but I can't get over how quick everyone got over learning about the supernatural world. π
I thought the friends were cute, and them all finding a group and place to fit in was sweet. I thought the friendships were cuter than the romances though.
Out - Hannah Bonam-Young 4*
πππΆοΈππͺ
I low-key dislike both of these tropes, but they stories are so well done that it doesn't even matter.
1 is what other accidental pregnancy books wish they were. Falling in love under pressure, but so sweet!
2 is a study in re-learning to communicate with someone you've loved forever.
Kelley Armstrong: Writing Mr. Wrong + Finding Mr. Write. 4.5*
πππΆοΈππͺ
I love Kelley Armstrong. She can just write whatever genre she feels like and I'll read 'em all...
These are very cute. I liked the character development. I loved the guy in book 2 trying to play an idiot. Hilarious.
Mated to the King - Lola Glass 5*
πππΆοΈππͺ
These are so fun! The magic is unique, but easy to follow. Each book shows you more of the world, but still feels cohesive. Characters/relationships are cute.
Millionaire Matchmaker - Kathryn Cantrell / Kacy Cross 3*
πππΆοΈππͺ
These were alright, but got repetitive as they're all in fake relationships. I did like that they were all there for different reasons, and thought overall they were cute.
Yes! I think between them I've read 90%+ of their books! So good.

I haven't been this let down by a book in a while. I'll try again when the next one comes out because I think I was expecting something closer to ZA. It was more fantasy than UF. And so far I don't care about anyone. If I didn't know who wrote it, I'd never have guessed.

This is the closest I'll ever come to doing drugs. I'm addicted to these. The characters will never leave your head. The world is so fun.
They are THE best at giving you characters you hate.... and then somehow learn to love with all your soul.
The ONLY negative: some of them are TOO long
Vancouver Storm - Stephanie Archer. 4.5*
πππΆοΈππͺ
These are cute. If you're looking for a sports romance, this is a great choice. The characters are cute, there's more romance than sports, and I'm excited for a new one every time.
Chicagoland Vampires + Heirs of Chicagoland - Chloe Neill 3.5*
πππΆοΈππͺ
I like the world, characters, and most of the story lines. My biggest issues are the endings of each book which often feel anticlimactic. Also, that they mention Buffy a few times, and they have a story line VERY similar to season 6 and don't mention it. It bugs me. π€£

I laughed. I yelled quotes at people. I automatically added it to my TBreR pile.

I might have actually screamed at book 3. I feel like any book that makes me legit have a freak out gets at LEAST 4 stars. π€£
The characters were very cute. And I loved that it felt well connected, but all the books were very unique too.

@haileyedwards.bsky.social is always going to be a good time. The world, the characters, the plot. All great!
She's one of the authors I save for when I'm in a slump because I know I will come out of it happier than I went in.
The Immortal Empire - Kate Locke 3*

I'm behind on reviews, but not so far behind I should have forgotten basically this whole series...
It was okay? I liked the world building and premise well enough, but I didn't really care about the characters.
Nadia Stafford - Kelley Armstrong 4*

This isn't my normal genre of choice, but I still loved it. I'll eventually read everything Kelley Armstrong has ever written (I'm close!) and I won't regret a second of it.

Prime Mating Agency - Regine Abel 4.5*
πππΆοΈππͺ
I'm kind of annoyed by how much I liked this series. I was expecting aliens and smut and 0 extra content. But the world building was fascinating, the characters were 3D, and the plot lines were so interesting! I shouldn't care about them this much, BUT I DO!

I liked these a lot. It was a fun look at technology and I liked the characters a lot.
It felt like Hunger Games meets The Giver meets SciFi to me.

This was hard for me to rate because there was such a range. I really liked the town and most of the couples even if I didn't love their tropes. There were a few that were meh for me though. Still cute though, and you might love the tropes that are meh for me. ;)
Monster Security Agency - Cara Wylde, Layla Fae, Cassie Alexander 3.5*
πππΆοΈππͺ
Similar to the other one with 2 of the same authors. They felt connected/meant to be a series (which I love in series with multi. authors!) The world was connected, but the chars. weren't really so you could read each as a standalone.
There was def. a range of ratings, but good overall!
Warts & Claws - Clio Evans 3.5*
πππΆοΈππͺ
I really liked all the characters. I thought they were well flushed out. I do feel like the books were pretty repetitive though. They're all office romance, 3 MCs in each, similar ways of figuring out they belong together etc.
But if you're looking for high smut, lower plot. Voila!
Monster Mate Mayhem - Multiple Authors 2.5*
πππΆοΈππͺ
I really liked the first one, the second was cute, and I just felt like I was being let down more and more as I went.
Overall they were okay. I do feel like they could have been connected a LOT more to feel more like a series. I don't even really feel like the world felt all that cohesive.
