I do like the conclusion you have for students - I use questions which prompt for similar answers, but I like your method of putting it all together into a full written paragraph. 🌟

I have nearly the same thoughts about how Ss interact with Pivot if it's 100% on the screen. At this point I often strip down the Pivot activity to just the videos and graphs and have a handout where they answer the questions and do the calculations by hand - which I've been pretty happy with.

Just to clarify: Farming is very physically hard work with huge upfront costs and a decent chance you won't earn back what you put in.

It's farming cosplay - then once they actually have to do the actual work it all falls apart.

Also, my grandparents & other relatives farmed and let me tell you no one has ever told me farming would be a great career option...

The 1st time I read through the whole Bible as an adult it struck me even the "fire & brimstone" Old Testament God was all fire & brimstone-y at the Israelites bc over & over they weren't caring for the "widow, the orphan, or the stranger within their gates."

I'm glad to see some publicity of faith leaders protesting. I think it's an ahistorical mistake to try to cram Jesus into right or left bucket, there's little doubt Jesus would NOT be on the side of those persecuting the "foreigners within our gates."
