When I visit #Cornwall I tend to go looking for the old engine house ruins, These books are an amazing resource for information on their whereabouts. And if there are still spoil heaps the mineral book comes in handy when looking to see if there’s anything of interest. #old #mines #minerals

The missus, Bill and myself visited Somerset Lavender today. Been a few times over the years.
Great place to spend an hour or so. Walk the fields, then visit the cafe and shop. The site seems to be improving every visit. #lavender

Fortunately I was one of the lucky ones, it didn’t happen in the end. But people I work with got laid off. Thankfully I’m still in work. But it was a close call. Thanks for reaching out.

This time last week I had a weekend away to look forward to. This week I faced redundancy. Wonder what this weekend will hold for me?? Ian hoping to do some drawing and maybe some watercolour painting. #art #watercolours #weekend

So today was a hard day, The not knowing for four hours if I was staying or being made redundant was tough going. Thankfully I’m staying in work, The feeling of relief was overwhelming to the point of being really drained. I’m so thankful that I can get up for work as normal tomorrow.

So tomorrow I face the fact that I could be but on an at risk list for redundancy, This really isn’t good for the anxiety, to the point of almost being sick.
Not looking forward to going in tbh. But I also want to know asap.

What a great weekend I’ve had in #Cornwall, very chilled. I really don’t want to go home but needs must.
Mostly the #stives area this time. Didn’t make it to the tin coast as I had hoped, shall make up for it in Sept when I down again but for a bit longer.

Early morning run, Ridiculously hot even at 7am. But I’m glad I got out there and did it. Scenery was amazing and the sea was so calm.
