My school had that old school heat that was so overzealous it was designed so you had to keep the window open. You could get second degree burns by touching the radiators.

That's the truth. Hell, I went to high school in a small rural college town in Appalachian Maryland and our high school was reasonably resourced. There were struggles, sure, but we certainly didn't lack for books.

And in big cities, the inequities in education are so obvious that it's galling.
