You know k-pop has gone mainstream when you hear it at the CVS as you’re waiting for your blood pressure medication.

I’m no design scientist, but that logo is just hideous.

It’s often easier to read than text on a screenshot, too. Much easier!
Very true. The whole Scion line was marketed as ‘no pressure, no haggle, no extra fees’ and aimed at first car buyers and seniors with limited income.
I’m not a car person myself, and I really did appreciate that.
I loved my XB. I’d still be driving it if I hadn’t hit a pothole so hard it totaled it.
Sounds like a joke but unfortunately not kidding, this hole in the road was so deep my tire went in completely and it bent the frame.
It was very reliable and loved before that… though I did change the oil.
My microwave says “enjoy!” When the time is up.
Machines have gotten much more cheerful since I was a kid.
Clever bet-hedging

This gives me so much hope.
Now you’re raking in the hipster cred 😉
18.10.2025 19:55 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I don’t advise it, but I once had a boss who was badgering me to hurry up while I was trying to balance a cash out.
I had enough and said “If you don’t go away and let me do this, I’m going to stab you with this pencil.”
Then I faked a smile for plausible deniability.
Never did it again.
Those types tend to think that ‘we’re BONDING!’ and ‘that’s how we joke together!’
You know, like when he bullies and puts down his employees and they have to put up with it because starvation and rent.
I had a cousin who named all her kids with the same initials, also went with some very “maesynne” spellings.
It’s a baby, not a purse dog. Someday, someone other than you will need to address them.
Words do mean things. In this context, entitlement = thing you are entitled to.
In another context, entitlement = thinking you have the right to remove something someone is entitled to.
It makes the world a better place ❤️

Then, every now and again, I’ll tear up in a grocery store because I saw a good looking pork chop and suddenly remember I can’t share it with him.
That is an amazing cover! ❤️

“Just coffee, thanks,” I called from the bathroom.

I’ve had two cats that had to have dental surgery, both were much, much happier and healthier after it was done.
