In terms of our morning coffee routine

My wife and I have several continuous games on BGA and that’s one of our favorites. It’s replaced The NY Times crossword.

I did like the last scenario a lot, but my favorite I think is always the 4th scenario. The middle scenarios 4-8 are all really fun.

Combat Commander Europe

My friend and I finished all 12 scenarios in Combat Commander: Europe. It took a little over a year and half. We did it asynchronously via video messaging. We both had the game set up and would keep both boards updated. Now we have moved on to the battle packs.

Trying out Enemy Action: Ardennes. I really like Kharkov, so I have high hopes. The enemy action series has to be one of the deepest (and heaviest) solo systems. It’s truly a marvel.

Played some turns of Thunder at Dawn with the kids. Tomorrow we are going to see the cannon demonstrations at Wilson’s Creek Battlefield.

Inis board game

Played Inis with the kids. It was fun as always, but the expansion makes the game go brutally quick even with 5 players.

I’ve never played the previous version but I have no complaints about this version. I do have the plastic trays that hold the power tiles. I’ve heard that’s a game changer.
