Across Europe, queer people face growing hostility - I saw it again last Saturday at the banned Pride in PΓ©cs.

It is good the Commission continues its LGBTIQ Strategy, but it still lacks real action.

We need courage now - to turn promises into progress.

In Scotland two families own more wealth than 1.3 million people.

We're one of the wealthiest countries in history, but that wealth is concentrated in the hands of a tiny few.

That's why a wealth tax on the super-rich is supported by an overwhelming majority of Scots.

Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.

No, laws alone aren't enough to tackle queer- & trans-phobia.

But the @snp.org are just dragging their heels on banning conversion practices.

Letting down every single victim. Allowing literal torture to go on, trying to change something that can't be changed.

Delusional is being very kind.

The only polite response to Labour's false assertion is 🀣 and it would actually be funny if it wasn't so serious.

@scottishgreens.org were proud to get more orgs paying the Real Living Wage when we were in government.

Because fair working conditions don't just help workers, they help families, which supports local economies, which supports everyone. #ChallengePovertyWeek

The answer is yes, if operated by tram/trains which also run off the line in a few places.

The Council should also join the tramway properly so that a figure if eight service is provided to places like Leith, Newhaven and across the centre to the South Side. That would match origins/destinations.

β€˜This is real progress’: airlines on sustainable aviation fuels and the chances of net zero flying The EU and UK have imposed mandates, and investors see its value – but the industry has mixed views

Smoke and mirrors drivel

There is no such thing as sustainable aviation fuel

We need a prohibative levy on the minority that flies for fun every other weekend

No new airport expansion and a ban on private jets

And train not plane for domestic travel

Much to parse here. First, it's part of Sketch's ongoing campaign "Poor British Motorist!" This was during the great motorway building boom. And do you know who profited from that boom? Transport minister Ernest Marples ...

Our services should be owned by us & work for us. Private companies keep putting up prices, making life harder for everyday working folk.

How can some bus companies thrive while other are making cuts?

Bringing bus companies into public ownership would mean your ticket fare would go back into the service, instead of lining private pockets. People, over profit.

It works in Edinburgh, and it could work in Dundee.

Things that make you proud to be British: the freedom to protest peacefully; a representative media; a fair voting system; a just taxation system; equal opportunities for all; well-funded public services; tolerance and respect. All things no other country can claim. (Am I doing this right?)
