Across Europe, queer people face growing hostility - I saw it again last Saturday at the banned Pride in PΓ©cs.
It is good the Commission continues its LGBTIQ Strategy, but it still lacks real action.
We need courage now - to turn promises into progress.
STV News. Wealth tax on ten richest Scots 'could lift 30,000 children out of poverty'. A tax of 2% levied against those with assets worth Β£10m or more could bring in Β£492m a year from Scotland's ten richest families, study finds.
In Scotland two families own more wealth than 1.3 million people.
We're one of the wealthiest countries in history, but that wealth is concentrated in the hands of a tiny few.
That's why a wealth tax on the super-rich is supported by an overwhelming majority of Scots.

Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.

But the @snp.org are just dragging their heels on banning conversion practices.

Because fair working conditions don't just help workers, they help families, which supports local economies, which supports everyone. #ChallengePovertyWeek
Heβs been stiffing people his entire life. Why should this time be any different?
07.10.2025 17:27 β π 4 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0The answer is yes, if operated by tram/trains which also run off the line in a few places.
The Council should also join the tramway properly so that a figure if eight service is provided to places like Leith, Newhaven and across the centre to the South Side. That would match origins/destinations.

07.10.2025 10:54 β π 6 π 2 π¬ 0 π 0Our services should be owned by us & work for us. Private companies keep putting up prices, making life harder for everyday working folk.
The Scottish Greens will always fight for more public ownership for better services. Join that fight here:

How can some bus companies thrive while other are making cuts?
Bringing bus companies into public ownership would mean your ticket fare would go back into the service, instead of lining private pockets. People, over profit.
It works in Edinburgh, and it could work in Dundee.
