Motorists' groups have whined about how "badly" they are treated ever since the red flag days. It appears to be intrinsic.

That sort of nonsense is why people who can afford them use folding bikes to get to and from railway stations.

How can some bus companies thrive while other are making cuts?

Bringing bus companies into public ownership would mean your ticket fare would go back into the service, instead of lining private pockets. People, over profit.

It works in Edinburgh, and it could work in Dundee.
