Delicous black coffee from Sumatra and El Salvador. Mostly Sumatra. The coffee is cute.

I did not have enough beans in the Sumatra bag so I combined them with some beans from el Salvador. Did a nice pour over with my hario suiren.

I have 30 grams minus the weight of the bag of beans from Sumatra. I’m gonna make those.

I was just about to make my second one for the day.

A pair of super cute marijuana plants, both about a month old. The younger plant seems to be growing slightly slower than the other one, it’s smaller than the other plant was five days ago. The plants are super cute too.

A picture of the right plant, showing its main stem and two branches. The branch on the left, which was formerly wrapped in sewing thread, got constricted by said thread. I removed the thread right away, but the limb grew back looking freakishly large. Looking forward to the growth coming up. The right branch still has these because it hasn’t cut the plant yet. I imagine if it does, we will see similar thickening. The freak Popeye branch is still cute though in its own way.

October 3rd on the right, October 8th on the left. Starting to bend branches under these first supports on the older plant, so the manifold growth can spread out enough. Also my new weed tent arrived today I gotta make room for it tomorrow where the existing one is. Also check out the Popeye branch.

Wearing the ol Star Trek uniform for Halloween again

A picture of my first weed plant in this grow, with a bunch of sewing thread wrapped around its branches. The branch on the right had its main stem accidentally snapped off, so it is shorter than the left side. The plant is still cute though.

A second picture taken 24 hours later, the two branches of the right side have started bending upwards. The stem also looks bruised and bent, because I have been doing a sort of pinch method to the branches to make them stronger and wider. It is currently recovering from being pinched. It is still cute.

I tied my older plants branches down, to make the plant grow outwards. Within 16 hours the plant had already started bending upwards. Also I accidentally snapped off the main stalk on that side, so now that one has an immediate split into two more branches.

A picture of my marijuana plants, which sprouted five days apart. They have both had their tops removed, and the two lower sets of branches have been pruned. The plant on the right is the older plant, and has a branch bent over towards the camera. This is because of some high stress training I am planning for these plants. The plants are cute as well.

A picture of the rightmost plant. It shows signs of the training I did to the branches of the plant, where the branch isn’t quite straight. I have twisted it to stretch the fibers nearly the breaking point, and squeezed the stems til they crush on the inside, like a straw. This should lead to some large knots forming on the stems, which will increase nutrient uptake in the area. The plant is also cute.

My weed plants are doing well. Going to manifold these plants, which is a fancy way to say ‘cut off all but two branches from the main stem’

From left to right, first one is from Double Jump Coffee, a farmers market stand, these beans are from the Andes mountains of Colombia. The second bag are from a fancy roaster from downtown area Portland called Push Pull. These beans are from Guatemala. The third bag is from Caravan Coffee, in Newberg Oregon. This bag is from Bolivia. I haven’t had Bolivian beans before to my recollection. The bags are cute.

Yay a bday gift arrived :)

A detailed picture of Scully’s scar on her body. The cause is unknown, the place where we got her was not forthcoming about information, but we did get a discount. Possibly a live feeding injury. That’s why she only eats thawed rats. Scully’s scar is cute though, and makes her unique.

Scully had a 99.9% perfect shed the other day. The perfect creature.
