New kicks! These are what running shoes looked like in the late ‘70s. Puma Easy Riders arrived in 1977, when running made its move from the track to the streets.

Game-changing at the time, they helped fuel the jogging boom of the 1970s.

Today, they’re old-school cool.

Finally, finally, finally… found a working, sensibly priced flash unit for my 1970s Polaroid Camera.

Like most vintage tech: ridiculously heavy, stupidly cumbersome, and rocking a nerdy name ‘Polatronic’ so it sounds futuristic… I love it. 😍 📸⚡️

Just back from a 24-hour flying visit to the University of Sheffield with Mrs C and Louis.

Just enough time to soak up the atmosphere, explore the campus, and start picturing the next chapter.

Some great architecture too — captured on a 1976 #Polaroid 1000 Land Camera.

Nothing fancy. Nothing fast. No tricks.
Just getting comfortable on the board — and having a lot of fun.

But fitness isn’t about going flat-out all the time. It’s about consistency, patience, and keeping going — especially when it’s tough.

Nearly five months after pulling a hamstring, things are finally getting close to feeling back to normal.

Recovery has been slow. Shorter distances, slower pacing, limited speed work, and more rest days than I’d like.

A typically British run — blustery with sunshine, showers, and somehow a headwind in both directions!
