tracing motivation w/in an entirely dysfunctional society is an exercise in futility. when violence is made a state/government monopoly people devolve into partisans arguing for THEIR right to violence & others' illegitimate use of violence. the system is designed for the results it produces.

I hate when people of privilege announce that art, sport or music are non-political. What they really mean is that they don’t want their privilege challenged by uncomfortable truths. They want to enjoy themselves as Rome burns.

per this they were only comparing lagers. this would indicate they were essentially measuring the hop variable (i.e. which hops). ipas use ale yeast & lots more hops by volume. would love to see which hops were associated w/ which presences. guessing citra=light & mosaic=strong
