When I did A-Level film studies, Went the Day Well was on the syllabus. Muriel George's character (Mrs Collins, who kills a Nazi with an axe) became a cult figure in our class.

We made a poster showing the main characters, and I drew her waving her axe with the caption MRS COLLINS BRINGER OF DEATH

Question: how does Biffo the Bear talk?
I mean, he clearly started out as a bit of a Mickey Mouse knockoff, so it's entirely possible that Dudley Watkins and co imagined him sounding the same.
The thought of a high-pitched Mickey Mouse voice coming out of that wrinkled visage is truly a nightmare.

She should be thankful it's the snout of the spruced-up 90s Biffo, and not the grotesque lumpen appendage of his precursor.
