Thanks. Our new solid waste and recycling program is going really well, and Minneapolis has been a great partner with us in all our work. We are implementing and considering big improvements in our winter operations and plowing. I'd love to have their budget :)

Thanks for posting this. We do maintain these lights even though they are in Falcon Heights. ("It's complicated" as they say.) These were damaged by copper wire theft and are on our list for repair.

We brought one of these stencils to our Council budget meeting to show why the current approach is time consuming and not as safe as other options. We're requesting one-time money for a new piece of equipment that will make this work much more efficient and help us catch up.

The last two weeks we’ve been doing Snow Plow Operator Training. It’s a chance for our workers to update their driving & safety skills. It’s also a chance to refresh my skills, and to connect with the people doing this work. Their input and ideas make our work to improve snow operations much better.

As we transition from Sinkhole Season to Snow Season in Saint Paul, I can’t say enough good things about our @cityofsaintpaul.bsky.social sewer teams. From the moment they responded to the collapse, public safety, safety for everyone working on site, and business support were their #1 priorities.

St. Paul police arrest suspect in vandalism of storm sewer drains Beginning in early June, several hundred storm sewer grates in St. Paul have been removed and dropped into storm sewer drains.

Great work from the public, @cityofsaintpaul.bsky.social Public Works and Saint Paul Police in capturing the person likely responsible for all of this damage. Awareness and cooperation between the public and government made this possible. Thanks!
