I see lots of great work on bsky. I wish i saw more. Tumblr is still good, but the model/photog userbase is weak since the 2017 exodus, and for some reason no one will forgive tumblr even after they walked back the policy, but they’ll keep going back to IG again and again when IG does worse.

I still use it. It’s still hard to grow a following (as a photographer of nudes), but that’s largely due to the absence of models there. Most don’t want the effort of having to maintain yet another site or rebuild a following, and many won’t forgive it for 2017’s porn ban (which was walked back).

I never thought i’d see so many people confidently use the wrong word in a vaguely professional or academic context as i have in this life.

The same reason you remake silent hill 2, and not silent hill 1. And now they’ve been railroaded into remaking silent hill 1, and outside of fans of the series, of course it’s gonna flop. The original wasn’t a blockbuster.

Everyone was thinking Bloober Team was going to remake Rule of Rose, and i was just like “Of course. It’s such a profitable move to remake an extremely weird, janky, cult title that is only well known in survival horror circles and retro gaming circles as an expensive holy grail.”

This remains one of the best things i have seen on a social media timeline.

No, I never get answers for the appeals, I just scroll back through my posts and discover that the adult content label has been removed--or not, as the case may be.

I’m pretty sure it labels all nudity as adult content unless its AI can’t figure out what it’s looking at. The “nudity” option feels like the fallback for a post-appeal or AI failure state, and is never just assessed as correctly-labelled nudity. I appeal every time, on principle. Most get fixed.

Now, i don’t think there’s anything inherently white about ominous drones, but i also think that when i work with POC, they are thinking “fuck, this guy’s music is so white.”

censored images on platforms that don't require censorship are such an insult to my seeing nudity.

Instagram has very clearly passed the “review” of its AI’s decisions on to another AI.

Checking their policy on nudity was the first thing I did, and while I may use it to see what's going on in the uncensored middle-east, I don't have much use for an instagram clone that has the same policies as instagram.

Upscrolled doesn’t allow nudity, and therefore, i don’t have much use for it. It’s one thing to clone instagram, but if i can post what i want and see what i want elsewhere, i don’t need an app where i can’t.

I just love the time-crash style of the first area in the ringed city DLC, like “this is where all your darlings have gone to die. Way to care about things, hero.”
