'disagree' implies it's over an opinion, e.g. of a film or sport, something that does not have the bearing on people's lives like say, continuing to defend the labour party making anti-trans, anti-immigrant policies and rhetoric does. Continuing to stan Labour in 2025 is indefensible.

The background is interesting and I think it's the best reveal of the story tbh, but I also think Aloy could be really interesting if she was more interested in the result of her looking for the scientist, etc. As you say though it would take a fair amount to overhaul.
