🪸Selbst abgelegene Korallenriffe im Mittelmeer sind massiv mit Mikroplastik belastet. Das zeigt eine neue Studie der @uni-kiel.de: In der Bucht von Illa Grossa (Spanien), einem streng geschützten Naturschutzgebiet, wurden in Proben mehr als 6.000 Partikel pro Kilogramm Sediment gefunden.

It’s been a busy few days sampling in Fiordland with the FS Sonne and the @marumunibremen.bsky.social Squid ROV. It’s been spectacular both above the water and below. A few photo highlights from the ROV dives that were live streamed on YouTube.
