#BasicIncome is opt in, if you don’t need it, you don’t need to apply for it. The idea here is to help the poorest people not the richest. Also being poor is costing us way more than a Basic Income. In 🇨🇦 about quarter million is spend on one homeless person, #UBI will be about
$24K.

In a way this can’t be compared. 2K payment would take care of property taxes. $500 per week #BasicIncome and all of a sudden opportunities open up. There is more to society than working 40 hours a week.

Every citizen deserves a dividend from their government.

•The value of our shared land
•Externalities imposed on our environment & health
•Data & ideas extracted from us to train AI replacing our jobs.

We built this wealth. We deserve a share.

Watering 2, 3 times a day and growing certain plants in less sunny areas. White cover might also help, we haven’t use our yet, so far summer is up to 35C.

#BasicIncome will also eliminate governmental inefficiencies. Eventually welfare and EI and CPP would be eliminated because they would be not needed (far out in the future)

If humanity never tried new things, there would be no progress and we would still live in caves.
