‘It’s destroyed us’: Parents of children with long Covid accused of making it up Doctors and parents say children are being threatened with being taken into care as medics struggle to diagnose their conditions and families are placed under suspicion

In our recommendations to the UK COVID Inquiry
we call for a nationwide public awareness campaign to explain clearly that Long Covid in children is a debilitating and potentially disabling long-term condition.

A second picture of a girl (my daughter Rosie) sitting in her wheelchair on the beach, watching the sun set over the sea. We tried to join the rest of the family on a walk across the beach. But I could not drag the wheelchair across the sand. So we watched the waves wash away the tracks in the sand as the sun dropped to the horizon. The third line of the haiku reads It hates your sickness

I am proud of this one; it is one of my better efforts.
