Yeah, his defenders don't care. They just hate women & think sexual abuse is an appropriate punishment for women they don't like.

Weinstein did to a lot of women what Baldoni tried to do to Lively - preemptively ruin her career & credibility in case she tried to come forward. The strategies haven't changed.

My dad would do regular valentine's day for my mom (who could not have cared less about that stuff) but THE valentine's day was after the clearance sales. Had to have the half off sticker & everything.

I do not celebrate valentine's day because my family's long-held tradition of taking a principled stand against capitalism (my dad was ΜΆcΜΆhΜΆeΜΆaΜΆpΜΆ frugal & bought us clearance valentines the day after). After he died we continued this righteous economic protest (savings).

It's such an absolute joke. Truly the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Two seconds of observing men's behavior puts that immediately to bed.

Especially considering withholding emotion because you fear how others will judge you is the actual weakness.

I want people to really understand and grapple with how bad it is for victims and all of us to live in a system where sexual violence is not punished, but victims are punished more for coming forward. I need people to see it for what it is so that we can actually do something about it

A lot of people frustrated with this regime's protection of child rapists but feminists have been screaming this is how the system works forever. Especially the vilification of victims & dismissing them as "false accusations."

Not just refusal to act, but retaliation, too. Publishing unredacted information that puts them in danger, including nude photos, while redacting and withholding files containing information about perpetrators.

The complete refusal from the Department of Justice and FBI to investigate the allegations in the Epstein Files and made by Epstein survivors is also proof of what victims everywhere go through every day when authority figures refuse to do anything about what happened to them

COURTS Missouri House once again approves bill clarifying divorce rules during pregnancy 'It is about offering survivors like me the chance to find safety, to begin healing and to reclaim the life that was stolen from them,' said state Rep. Williams, a domestic violence survivor who said a judge refused to finalize her divorce while she was pregnant with her fourth child, shared her story of abuse on the House floor last year. Her words moved some of her colleagues to tears.

While nothing prevents Missourians from filing for divorce while a party is pregnant, the current statute is interpreted by many courts as preventing the final dissolution of marriage from being issued until after the child is born, so that a custody agreement for that child can first be put into place.

State Rep. Ken Jamison, a Democrat from Gladstone, said after hearing Williams' gripping testimony last year, he took an informal poll of about five judges and five attorneys who had a combined 200 years of experience practicing family law in Missouri.

Jamison, who is also an attorney, asked if they believed Missouri law prohibited courts from finalizing a divorce while a woman is pregnant. Half said yes; half said no.

This is the second year in a row that Missouri legislative had to pass a law for allowing for finalization of a divorce during pregnancy. Even with a similar bill passed last year the courts still upheld the 70s era law. Hopefully they don't have to do it a 3rd time.

So the adult encountered a violent boy & instead of taking responsibility in his role as an adult & esp their teacher, he sent a child in to manage a violent situation? Yeah, you'll never convince me men are Protectors. They're even too spineless to challenge boys. Hiding behind a kid to take blows.

Yeah, sometimes we don't see it, esp if we're surrounded by ppl who accept them & we convince ourselves those red flags aren't enough to cut ties. I've been there with a lot of ppl. So I recognize there are ppl who are duped, society pressures our acceptance, & then there are ppl who don't care.

I do know predators groom allies as much as they groom their victims so there are certainly people who don't know. Which is why they shouldn't vouch for them. But often people did hear the whispers & simply chose to preserve their comfort.

This is required reading, and I share the philosophy.

If you’ve got a problem with that, you need to look within yourself because that’s where the actual problem lies.

The ones who fold will forever be remembered as the ones who folded. It's his Covid "strategy"--"stop testing and Covid will go away"--all over again.

It also hurts my feelings that a lot of "good" people associate with men who hurt women but claim they didn't know, forgot, can't judge, or don't believe the accusations. And those associations give the impression that a guy is safe.

11.02.2026 19:07 β€” πŸ‘ 24    πŸ” 4    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

When men say "it hurts my feelings when women give us tests, are scared, fail to exclude me when describing men," it hurts my feelings that men sexually assault us. Then blame women for trusting the wrong guy, which women should know but also not restrict men's access by being cautious.

11.02.2026 19:07 β€” πŸ‘ 24    πŸ” 6    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

I also learned a lot of people prefer to not be discomforted by holding men they like accountable for their abuses. People I thought were good.

(A lesson I already knew personally, a lot of men will wait for a vulnerable moment, or person, to pounce.)

11.02.2026 19:07 β€” πŸ‘ 23    πŸ” 3    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I learned from this no matter how well they wear the mask & play the role, they can still be predators. Anyone can be deceived. Had someone asked me if he was safe, I'd have likely said I didn't know him well but he seemed kind.

So no, I don't believe a man is good because he performs decency & is liked. I won't be an accomplice so I try to remember this lesson wrt vouching for men. And "good" people who would "never tolerate abusers" absolutely will if that's more convenient.

11.02.2026 19:07 β€” πŸ‘ 16    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

How do men benefit from the violence of other men? Guy benefited from the husband's abuse & isolation. Husband benefited from guy's assault driving her back. Even if she wasn't trying to escape an abuser, a sexual assault could drive a woman back to the false safety of a husband.

While this wasn't the only factor - she had no support, no money, her husband hired a lawyer & threatened her, on top of stalking - I have no doubt the assault contributed to her deleting all social media & returning to him.
