Lists of best items are out there on the interwebs, so search on that. It seems to vary by area, as some pantries also provide non-food items. Our local food pantry recommends peanut butter, canned tuna/chicken, canned stew, etc. Complete meals that don’t require butter, milk or cooking.

Industries that benefit (and therefore support) DST include: retail stores, food & beverage, recreation (especially golf) and oil/petroleum. Average person hates it. Also especially disruptive for night shift workers & businesses that employ them (thinking medical, etc).

Question: doesn’t CA have mail-in voting? If so, what percentage of voters vote in person? Here in Oregon (also w/ mail-in) some still vote in person, but most mail ballots in or drop in drop boxes. This whole ‘election observers’ seems performative. Well, yeah, obv. But …

It’s hard not to cry all day long about the atrocities, cruelties, lies & stupidities of this ‘administration’. But I have literally cried only twice. First on Jan 6 when watching barbarian thugs overrun our seat of government. Second time was yesterday, seeing photos of OUR HOUSE being demolished.

Where is your evidence conservatives have a sense of humor? Other than mocking & ridiculing disabled people, bipoc, immigrants…..
