그니까 무슨말이냐면 시즌2는 아마 안보거나 완결나면 시간날때 볼것같음..원작도 1편은 흥미진진했는데 완결권은 꾸역꾸역 읽다가 (둘 서사는 별로 안궁금하고 그냥 일리야 우울증 어케되나가 알고싶었음) 결말 대충 보이니까 더 읽을 의지가 없어져서 하차함…

히티드 라이벌리 되게 잘만들었다고 생각하고 끝까지 재밌게는 봤는데 나는 (근데 대부분 이렇지 않나..?) 아무래도 ”어떻게 이어지나“가 관심사고 ”이어져서 어떻게 되나“는 진짜 아무래도 좋아서 둘이 마음 통한 다음엔 급속도로 흥미가 식어버림…뭐 원래도 로맨스 별로 안 좋아하긴 하는데 한드도 로맨틱 코미디는 한 7화까지가 제일 재밌는것같아요 보통 그 다음엔 사귀더라고…

소피후드를 뜨면서 기다리고 있어요 대바늘 한 10년만에 잡아봄 사쿠라파워…

This was always my favorite scene in Heated Rivalry it sums up Ilya’s dilemmas so poetically He’s acutely aware of his feelings but he can never admit it because it’s not just his career on the line it’s family it’s country it’s everything. I think the show version is even better with added context

Ugghhh god Ilya I don’t even know what to do with you I am wrecked and what do you mean this is this man’a first major project and he’s from fucking Texas how does that even make sense I was so sure this must be an emotionally unavailable Russian man with like 15 years of acting experience

I love how faithful Heated Rivalry is to the book but I also adore the changes they made. I love how the added context for Ilya and his brother/family/country, I love the show version of Svetlana so much more (and her relationship with Ilya is so sweet!) and that last kiss was so much more cathartic

This was my favorite episode and there’s not even smut!!! Also whoever handles the soundtrack for this series deserves a bonus that last scene was absolutely amazing and the music added so much to it ugh it’s almost unfair how good it was I just want to yap about it forever
