One of my favorite scenes in film ever is in 12 Angry Men.
One of the men goes on the crazed, racist rant and the rest of the room simply turns away from him and ignores him. They refuse to listen, acknowledge or even *look* at the speaker.

I can’t continue my business right now because we are staying with a friend and I have no privacy to work with my clients. My husband is working a low paying, shit job and we are actively mourning a person who was very near and dear to us.

- Husband got a job at his old company, seemed very promising
- I quit my teaching job in order to pursue my own business

In the span of a week we:
- lost housing due to the unit being inhabitable
- lost a friend of 25 years because of a freak accident
- husband’s workplace is actively failing

Really tired of learning about the constant ruin of the world but like… I still wanna know things.

After quarantine and shots, our little guy is officially called Jupiter and he is an absolute MENACE.

Accidentally influenced my former middle school students to like SOAD and punk bands so now every so often I get an email requesting more “riot music” suggestions.

He is in fact, just a baby boi

My friends and I found a kitten in a spare tire yesterday. Our celebration and focus is the tiny, angry thing in the house.

Updates on the baby:
He doesn’t have a name yet.
He is eating, drinking and using the litterbox.
Still very hissy and spitty but is being curious and wandering around.
He goes to the vet tomorrow

While walking back to the car after our meal, my pals and I heard what we thought was a cat. We were correct and this spicy, cranky baby was screaming inside someone’s spare tire. We pulled him out and he was NOT happy. He is a very spicy boy and we love him.

Tell your people you love them now. Not later, not when things “settle down”. Tell them today.

I watched my husband receive the news that his best friend is dead this morning. All he wants is to talk to him one last time.

We are truly at a point where empathy IS radical. It IS an act of rebellion. And that kinda… sucks man.
