Yeah I suspect this drive might have had SMART reset only because of the price (230 for ironwolf pro) but it's working, happy, quiet. If it can hold out til the prices come down that would be nice.

I spent 2 months trying to buy a 16tb HDD though, ended up getting one from China because no one had one at reasonable price anywhere in the UK.

I built a new NAS just in time by the looks of it, I even managed to get 2x4tb m2 nvme for 330. Thank god I'm done for the foreseeable.
