My children are so young, I don’t want to them to have to bear the weight of this world for a single second. I want to raise them to be kind, compassionate, and caring individuals. I hope to raise boys who see the power of loving their neighbors and don’t fall for the false power of a mask and gun.

I never thought I would have to watch a video of a woman being murdered in cold blood then put my phone down and go be a parent. I never ever could have imagined that a few weeks later I’d watch a video of a man being murdered in cold blood and again just have to put it down and go parent.

A friend recommend the #hollowboys series by #montyjay to me. #TheLiesWeSteal is the first book. At about 50% through I’m not really feeling it, but I’ve been told “just wait…”

I also wash my hair first so I can put the conditioner in and let it sit while I do all my other washing then rinse right before I get out. Because letting the conditioner sit as long as possible makes it work better?

Anyone else have a random #beauty or #selfcare routine that they started as a teenager because they read something in a magazine but now you’re unsure if there’s any actual science to back it up? But you keep doing it?

Mine is washing my face last in the shower, because hot water opens pores 🤣

Me: I’m a professional, don’t treat me like I’m stupid.

Also me: *uses calculator to double check that 8+7 is still 15.*

As much as I am enjoying The Huntress by Kate Quinn, I’m 66% done and feel like the book should be done by now. I felt this way about Rose Code too. Excellent story telling, but just too long for me 😓
