I am genuinely not trying to be glib or dismissive here: isn’t this obviously and trivially true? Increased supply puts downwards pressure on price. Why would anyone expect any other outcome?

Even if we take “made six figures last year and on track to a million net worth by 40” at face value, that’s not nearly rich enough to be a sugar daddy. That describes “comfortable” in a coastal US city and encompasses a large swath of typical white collar workers.
