This is also true. @youthenroute.bsky.social should offer a service to #CPS - every officer, and every driver that makes contact with a bike / pedestrian should have to go for a bike ride with @bluhrgirl.bsky.social and some teenagers to understand the perspective of people outside cars #yyccc

pedestrian on sidewalk talks to driver of black vehicle that just ran him over.

I saw this today! really freaked me out. Driver turning right out of parking lot hit this kid and knocked him across the lane of traffic. I gasped as I thought he was going to be hit again. He jumped up and went to yell at the driver. This is when I took the pic to capture plate. #peddown

This story is atrocious, on so many fronts. But its olympics, sports, so we can shrug it off . . .🎁🔗

Just got an email from Canada's Future of Sport Commission. (I'd shared the lack of access to basic biking skills!)
But this note at the end of their email leaves me little hope it will do anything to prevent abuse/bullying/ sexism in sport. Irony is lost. :(
