Very scary in a busy street with a cold, rainy morning and such a young child.

His dad had dropped him off at his bus stop and left him there alone, in the rain. I ended up taking him to his school after I dropped my group off. I was so angry at that parent. What if I hadn’t come along? 🚌

School bus driver life. Today was a bit odd. I was at one of my bus stops for my littles (prek-1st), and there was a child I’d never seen there. My bus monitor was able to coax him over, and we got his info. He was a 2nd grader who had missed the bus to his school.

Wanting to believe the best of a coworker who has accusations against him. I’m so glad we have cameras on our school buses so guilt or innocence can be determined by concrete proof. In the meantime I’ll do my best to remain neutral, and be the best I can be for my bus kids 🚌🚌🚌
