Today we mark the 80th anniversary of VJ Day 🇬🇧

My office was honoured to lay a wreath at the Old Town commemoration event this morning to express our deep gratitude for the immense sacrifice made by our Armed Forces during World War II.

We must never forget them.

The Douglas Drive Day Centre picnic was a lovely way to spend some of the last sunny Stevenage weekend ☀️

Hampson Park is always a beautiful place for family events, and I was delighted to win a few prizes from the tombola 🎁

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to HC-One’s Woodlands View Care Home in Stevenage today 🏠

It was lovely to meet residents there and tour the facilities - which are so well thought out and designed 🙌

I also want to highlight how incredible all of the staff were 👏
