I had a great time visiting Repair Cafe in Sawbridgeworth this afternoon! ♻️

While there, I signed The Restart Project’s Repair and Reuse Declaration to show my support for making it easier for everyone to repair and reuse the products we use every day.

Thanks for making me feel so welcome!

We must break the stigma around talking about money, ensure support is easy to find and free of judgement, and deliver effective financial education for young people.

Yesterday, I visited Oxford House in Bishop’s Stortford to meet Karen Taylor, Chief Executive of Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, and to discuss the mental health services they provide in our community.

I wrote to the Environment Agency last week and am awaiting a response. I’ll be be contacting DEFRA colleagues to push for an urgent reply.

I’ve spoken with local councillors, who I know have also raised the issue with the Environment Agency.

I know residents in Hertford are concerned about the fire-damaged barge on the River Lea.

I’ve also heard reports of a possible oil leak into the river and understand the worry this is causing.
