π Great atmosphere, great crowd, & a lovely countdown with everyone packed into the village.
The band were brilliant & the childrenβs choir were just wonderful, they set the tone perfectly.
Big thanks to everyone who put the event together. Nights like this make the village feel really special.
Spent the afternoon with Year 10 and 11 at UTC Warrington for Parliament Week.
Sharp questions on migration, homelessness, online safety and what life in Parliament is actually like.
UTC gives young people real skills and real routes into good jobs.
Started my week at Bewsey Lodge Primary before heading to Westminster. Year 5 and 6 asked brilliant questions about being an MP, how I got started, and issues like plastic pollution and flooding. Iβm back in Warrington tomorrow and will be visiting more schools across the constituency.
26.11.2025 19:31 β π 6 π 1 π¬ 0 π 1Many BN(O) families in Warrington are worried about sudden rule changes. Theyβve contributed so much to our town. My ask in Parliament was simple: keep the pathway stable and honour the commitments already made.

Can't wait to share the winner in early December.
Thank you to all the child who entered.

I raised this in Parliament because too many families in Warrington South are left with chaos they didnβt cause even when they do everything right.
We need clearer rules and real enforcement.
Each November, our town comes together to remember.
The bravery of those who never came home, the strength of those who did, and the gratitude of all of us who owe them more than words can ever express.
Your memory lives on. We will remember you.
I know itβs frustrating when change doesnβt happen as quickly as weβd hoped, I feel that too. But thatβs exactly why I got involved in politics. To help build a fairer system, so families arenβt left in that position in the first place.

I want to live in a world where we simply donβt need them anymore. But in the meantime, we canβt take away support from people who are struggling right now.
Bonfire night at Thelwall Parish Hall after tea at the Little Manor.
The kids loved it. Fireworks, cold air, muddy boots.
Nice to see so many families out for an organised display.
Simple, safe, and very Warrington South. π
In Parliament today I raised autism assessment delays. Waits are now around 200 days longer than a year ago.
Families are doing everything right, but the system isnβt working.
Iβve asked for a meeting with ministers to get this fixed. Strong foundations start with health and care that work.

I am sickened by the horrific terrorist attack at Heaton Park Synagogue in Manchester today. To target people at prayer on Yom Kippur is vile and cowardly. My deepest condolences go to the families of those who have lost loved ones, and my thoughts are with those who are seriously injured. This has shaken our whole region. I know members of the Heaton Park congregation, and my heart goes out to them and to the wider Jewish community who are living in fear and grief this afternoon. There is no place for antisemitism. There is no place for terrorist violence. Ever. I want to thank the police and emergency services for their swift and courageous response. No one should ever feel unsafe walking into their synagogue, mosque, church, gurdwara, temple, or any other place of worship. We must all stand together against hate.
My statement on the Manchester Yom Kippur Attacks.

This weekβs surgery was held here in the village. I hold surgeries every week across the constituency, so thereβs always an opportunity to sit down together.

Raised a glass at 4Tβs Brewery in Latchford to mark 50 years of North Cheshire CAMRA π»
From John's garage in 2010 to a brewery sending Warringtonβs ale across the country itβs a story of local passion and pride.
Whatβs your favourite local pub or brewery, and why does it matter to you?
Hundreds of people came through the doors of the Cheshire Police Museum yesterday.
I spent the day with volunteers, cadets, and serving and former officers, and loved seeing families get stuck in, from trying on uniforms to exploring the old cells.

We write to you in advance of the UN Conference co-chaired by France and Saudi Arabia on the 28thβ29th July in New York, to put on record our support for UK recognition of a Palestinian state. We are expectant that the outcome of the conference will be the UK Government outlining when and how it will act on its long-standing commitment on a two-state solution; as well as how it will work with international partners to make this a reality. Whilst we appreciate the UK does not have it in its power to bring about a free and independent Palestine, UK recognition would have a significant impact due to our historic connections and our membership on the UN Security Council, so we urge you to take this step. British recognition of Palestine would be particularly powerful given its role as the author of the Balfour Declaration and the former Mandatory Power in Palestine. Since 1980 we have backed a two-state solution. Such a recognition would give that position substance as well as living up to a historic responsibility we have to the people under that Mandate. This is a cross-party letter to show the support across the House for recognition of a Palestinian state. A two-state solution has been the cross-party consensus for decades. On the 13th October 2014 the House overwhelmingly moved the following motion: βThat this House believes that the Government should recognise the state of Palestine alongside the state of Israel.β That is still the position of the undersigned and we urge you to officially recognise the state of Palestine at the Conference next week.

More than 200 MPs.
Across party lines.
All calling for justice and recognition.
Iβm proud to have signed this letter urging the the PM, FS and UK Gov to recognise the State of Palestine.
Recognition isnβt the end of the struggle but itβs a vital step toward a just peace.
Sarah Hall MP speaking to UKSOBS at a suicide bereavement support drop-in in Parliament
Earlier this week I met with UKSOBS, a charity supporting those bereaved by suicide including people here in Warrington South.
Grief like this can be isolating, their work creates space for healing.
π Thank you for everything they do.

Sarah Hall MP, Cllr Mo Hussain, and Cllr Eunice Peters open a new play area at Penketh Primary School with staff, pupils, and community leaders.
Opened the new play area at Penketh Primary yesterday with Mayor of Warrington Cllr Mo Hussain, Cllr Eunice Peters & the school community π
It was all smiles as the kids tried it out for the first time, fun and full of energy.
What did your school playtimes look like?
Today, I asked my first PMQ on an important issue for constituents here in Warrington South.
Together with the local NHS trust I have recently submitted a proposal for a new Urgent Treatment Centre and outpatients facility.

Some of you will already know, my dad has been quite unwell recently. Sadly, he has now passed away. I appreciate the kindness and understanding so many of you have already shown, and I am truly grateful for the support and sympathetic words you have offered. I will be taking a few days away from work to spend time with my family. However, my office will still be open and my team on hand to assist any constituents with enquiries. Sarah
