For the Wall Street Journal, I picked one show per decade from the 50s to now that were the most influential and/or help tell the story of television's evolution:

Well read this: loc-ng.com/blogs/fitne...
From nationalizing voter suppression to flooding the streets with federal agents, Trump and his allies are using all the tricks in the authoritarian playbook to tilt the midterms in their favor.

Alrighty lol
I only proceeded to the next unit & chapter if I passed the review questions with an 85% or higher. 65% is passing, but I wanted a deep understanding and grasp of the subjects first. Next, I'll include non-study materials that have helped greatly!!
09.10.2025 07:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Tips:
- I used Notebook LM to study for the chapter tests only. I'd extract the chapters from the PDFs using PDF gear and create a notebook with them in NLM.
- if I couldn't get through the unit (not chapter!) or struggled to understand, id reread and then look up YT videos on the specific topic.
Howard Anton - Elementary Linear Algebra, 12th edition.
The latest one I just completed is Elementary Linear Algebra. This one was highly recommended online for beginners and I didn't have much difficulty working through it.
08.10.2025 04:45 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Daniel J. Velleman - How to Prove It: A Structured Approach, 3rd edition.
Wait I went through this before I did Calculus. This teaches you how to write proofs.
08.10.2025 04:28 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Ron Larson & Bruce Edwards - Calculus, 12th edition.
Then of course, Calculus.
You can find most of not all of these on libgen or zlibrary by the way. I used them digitally.
James Stewart - Precalculus: Mathematics for Calculus, 8th Edition
Then I went into precalculus. This actually contains more advanced algebra and trigonometry altogether.

If you want a complete refresher, there isn't anything better than this. It starts with basic math and ends with intermediate algebra (algebra 2). Everything is well explained with lots of examples and every section has a 65 question review at the end.

Then, optionally, you wanna get a timer of some sort. I personally use my computer but if that's too much of a distraction get this cheap one.
Start with 15 or 30 minute study increments, work your way up to an uninterrupted hour of studying.
Amazon Basics Multipurpose Copy Printer Paper
Uni Jetstream Ballpoint Pen
Tombow Mono Graph Shaker Mechanical Pencil
I taught myself math from scratch and in case anyone else needs that help I'll make a thread for it.
Before we really get started these are what you need to go get. I personally prefer pen over pencil though.

Thought experiment I always ask people to do; what if there had only been 8 episodes in S1? Or 10? Doesnβt bear thinking about. The season was a terrific rich meal & Iβm so happy for them.
