Exactly. People really don’t realize how “influenced” Trump and his cabinet’s statements are on this topic. Any election, while Russia has one foot in Ukraine, would be suspect. Just look at how the 2022 referendums worked out.

Ukraines Parliament suspended elections for multiple good reasons. A few are; It would be prohibitively expensive to attempt right now. There’s no way they can secure them. 1/3 of their population is under occupation at the moment.

Trump’s people know all this, and are just manufacturing excuses.

There’s also a huge amount of data to be gleaned from the Treasury’s payment system. Imagine what can be done with so much information on state, federal, and international organizations and individuals. THIS is why so few were ever allowed access to that system.

Yeah. We live in the middle of a decent sized Amish community, a few of who have big egg flocks. So, I could never match the price and supply.

The majority of our meat, we get from a small shop that sources locally. We get a deluge of eggs from spring through fall. But you can’t sell or barter them, because everyone around has chickens. I end up giving a lot to friends, when we get to about 4 flats of 30 on the counter. 😬

This is the unfortunate result of defunding public radio. I started noticing a couple of years ago, that their big money donors were start to have a negative effect on NPR’s balance. It’s been breaking my heart ever since.
