What are some of your favorite molecular dynamics papers? I am compiling a reading list for a course on biomolecular simulations that I will lead next spring, and I am looking for papers that get at the "why" of performing MD sims. I have a shortlist now but the more the merrier!

2. We dramatically reworked both text and the figure explaining the setup and results from our MANT-ATP assay for improved clarity.
Thanks again to everyone involved in this project, and to the anonymous reviewers whose critique strengthened the final manuscript!
Onto the next one!

1. We now include a mutual information based analysis of our molecular dynamics data to predict how RFC subunits sense and respond to ATP hydrolysis. We highlight the "sensor II" arginine as a hub of allosteric communication.

Human RPA is an essential telomerase processivity factor for maintaining telomeres
Telomerase counteracts telomere shortening by repeatedly adding DNA repeats to chromosome ends. We identified the replication protein A (RPA) heterotrimer as a telomerase processivity factor critical ...
Our paper in Science is out! @souravagrawal.bsky.social, @rlynn.bsky.social, @susvirkar.bsky.social, and the rest of the team show human RPA is a telomerase processivity factor essential for telomere maintenance. This reshapes our thinking about telomerase regulation. www.science.org/doi/10.1126/...

Screenshot from email that reads: Despite reporting to the contrary, we have not been asked to accept or reject the draft compact. Rather, we have been asked to provide feedback and comments as part of an ongoing dialogue, and that is our intention.
Vanderbilt has arrived, late to the chat, with this shambles of a response. While technically true, this is a clear abdication of any moral responsibility. They even work in a mention of their commitment to "institutional neutrality" later in the email.
