Honoured to receive the Railway Photographic Society's Special Prize for the Young Rail Photographer of the Year at the NRM yesterday.

Lovely event and was amazing to walk around the NRM basically empty and see the newly painted 91105.

My only scar is on the side of my right foot when I dropped a jar of jelly babies as a 9yo, which smashed to piece and sliced my foot open.

If they do it they need to make a proper connection to Stratford station itself, without having to deal with going through Westfield or take the DLR.

Always liked the idea of Farringdon International, Tube, Thameslink, both Crossrail lines and pretty central, though be a lot more work.

An all-BR blue Class 310 EMU with yellow cab ends is seen calling at the far side of an island platform at a relatively new Milton Keynes Central, the large black and white station name board evident on the right of the shot.

#OnThisDay 43 years ago Milton Keynes Central opened eclipsing Bletchley as the main station serving the new town (now a city) and becoming the intercity calling point. Later that year Class 310 EMU is seen calling en route to London Euston (Gary Thornton) buff.ly/suDuMIE

Something a little different today…Inside the vehicle, instead of outside!
So, we’ve got 5.1 bar in the air brake pipe, the brakes are released, and we’re on our way!

Setting up a work laptop and having to look at Win11 in its natural state should come with a free therapy session.

Need to quell my immediate instinct to install half a dozen programs and patches to make the UI usable.

Morning all. One of those views you never tired of…When you’d walk through those shuttered barriers at Waterloo and get your first glimpse of the mighty English Electric.
Hope you all have a wonderful day. πŸ™‚

6E02 came through Notts roughly the same time I'd be getting the train home from uni, so caught it a fair few times.

Also meant I got to see plenty of the DB 60s before they went.
