He set up a Climate Certification Standard for Non-Production in the Artistic and Cultural Sector. Which calculated that he had saved almost 58,800 tonnes of CO₂e by not going ahead.
These Cultural Degrowth Credits were worth around US$1.6 million.

Isangi REDD project: “Emissions reductions were likely short-lived if they occurred at all” Verra has frozen the buffer pool carbon credits from the project.

The Blattner family's Isangi REDD project sold 1.3 million carbon credits.

@hannanik.bsky.social and Jonas Gerding analysed the satellite images of the project and concluded that it led to few, if any, emissions reductions.

15.2 million fake carbon credits were sold from the Kariba REDD project according to Verra Almost two years after suspending the project, Verra has completed its carbon accounting review. The quality control review is still ongoing.

South Pole looked at the satellite data for the Kariba REDD project and estimated that 27 million carbon credits were fake.

Verra carried out a nearly two-year long investigation into the project and estimated that 15.2 million carbon credits were fake.

The Declaration rejects carbon markets and REDD.
