Good work.

Seems the $500 / day contempt fine should be paid by Princess Pam Bondi herself for running a totally incompetent organization.

This shitshow brought to you by Miler, Trump and Hegseth Video Productions Inc w/a small supporting contribution by Bondi and Noem.

If you’re wondering, yes that sidewalk thing was an actual proposal. You guys only see the dumb shit the Army does, imagine the dumb shit the Army gets talked out of doing.

But, in this JAG officer’s defense I don’t believe he should be sanctioned. I think Noem should be. It’s her agency, her plan.

18.02.2026 23:36 β€” πŸ‘ 133    πŸ” 6    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 1

I think part of her reason for doing this is to bring attention to the incompetence and inhumanity in DHS’s actions.
Fining a JAG lawyer who was sent by Pete Hegseth to defend Kristi Noem’s inhumane policies in Pam Bondi’s incompetent department gives a nice β€˜3 for the price of 1.’

I wish the judge had imposed the fine on the US Attorney, who is probably on the top of the papers. Hold that person accountable.

19.02.2026 00:22 β€” πŸ‘ 68    πŸ” 3    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

The focus should be that Trump, Noem, etc are hanging the military out to dry and pay the fines for *their* illegal refusal to follow court orders.

18.02.2026 23:50 β€” πŸ‘ 111    πŸ” 6    πŸ’¬ 3    πŸ“Œ 0

No, JAG lawyers are active duty military and cannot just quit their jobs. They are obligated to fulfill the terms of their enlistment contract or else be subject to court martial and other penalties.

That’s why they brought in JAG- they can’t quit like a civilian attorney can.

18.02.2026 23:41 β€” πŸ‘ 234    πŸ” 15    πŸ’¬ 27    πŸ“Œ 0

but those fines are the personal responsibility of the JAG lawyers... who probably had no choice being there

18.02.2026 23:30 β€” πŸ‘ 93    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 16    πŸ“Œ 1

The court should be fining ICE, not the JAG.

18.02.2026 23:44 β€” πŸ‘ 6    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 1

The most corrupt and incompetent Justice Dept in American history. Ignorant of the law, zero regard for the Constituton, basically shutting down an entire court system. Now they're going to move on & do it to other cities. The quicker we can get a functional Congress the better.

Holding govt attorneys in civil contempt with $500 daily fines- this a borrowed JAG officer whose salary is far below civilians

18.02.2026 23:57 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I hope Noem and Bondi have to personally pay any and all fines.

The "rule of law" has always existed to benefit those in power. But it has become a lot more mask off under Trump.

19.02.2026 01:04 β€” πŸ‘ 6    πŸ” 5    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

JAG attorney blamed his oversight on being overworked, citing 130 habeas corpus cases in one month. Dude, if you work for Nazis, this shit is gonna happen.

19.02.2026 01:24 β€” πŸ‘ 8    πŸ” 3    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Making a JAG the first to face contempt sucks.

He didn't choose to work for the DOJ and he doesn't have much recourse, short of being court martialed for dereliction of duty, resulting in a dishonorable discharge, prison time, and loss of his law license, voting rights, and his military pension.

19.02.2026 01:29 β€” πŸ‘ 5    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 3    πŸ“Œ 0

No doubt this will boost the morale of the JAGs roped into this mess! There was a time when this administration thought it could afford to fire DOJ and other govt attorneys over tweets and perceived political affiliations, and barely a year later it’s been stepping on rakes nonstop lol

19.02.2026 01:37 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

It's amazing that they thought bringing in lawyers from a different field would result in anything other than repeated embarrassments.

"But who will enforce the Judge's orders" crowd quiet right now

19.02.2026 02:43 β€” πŸ‘ 4    πŸ” 3    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

More of this, please. Only instead of just fining the attorneys start jailing their bosses at DHS.

19.02.2026 03:18 β€” πŸ‘ 4    πŸ” 2    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Yet another reminder that IMPOTUS is constantly disrespecting our military.

Reassigning JAG lawyers, treating them as pawns on a chessboard, to fill holes created by DOJ lawyers quitting because of their refusal to support theregime's contempt for the law, is disgraceful.

19.02.2026 03:31 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 2    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Yes, I guess you can view this series of events as good news. But ONE DOJer getting fined $500/day is a joke when there are a dozen billionaires in this admin. for whom $500 is the equivalent of what a quarter (or, in Musk’s case, 1/100th of one cent) is for most Americans.

$500/day fine is NOT enough. These corrupt attorneys working for ICE/Noem should be disbarred, arrested and thrown in prison without due process just like the β€œaliens” they are trying to deport.

19.02.2026 04:52 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Yes to accountability, but seems like that JAG is getting screwed. In all likelihood, he has little agency here. As a JAG he is active duty military, earning military salary, with no option to quit, & he has 130 cases this month - maybe 7-10x a normal case load. Let's hold Homan& Miller in contempt.

I had been trying to find out more regarding this civil contempt in Minnesota, and an update in the Fox9 report from Paul Blume (whose tweets are below) suggests the gov't miraculously found the man's ID documents quickly after the civil contempt finding. www.fox9.com/news/federal...

It's not gonna matter till someone in charge of all this bs is put behind bars in a prison cell, and not one of those Rich Resort "Prisons" either.

These jackasses have all the money in the world. This fine is like stealing quarters out of someone's couch cushion.

19.02.2026 06:39 β€” πŸ‘ 3    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

If you are a lawyer for the federal government, at some point you have an ethical obligation to resign. We may be past that point.

19.02.2026 07:31 β€” πŸ‘ 3    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

It’s diabolical to back-fill ranks of attorneys whose only ethical option is to resign in disgust with military lawyers subject to desertion law.

19.02.2026 11:59 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I somehow don’t think that fining the sacrificial JAG is going to do it. Gotta start grabbing ICE leadership.

19.02.2026 13:12 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

he's called in to cover for DOJ lawyers who have quit. he's probably in an impossible situation, where ICE dictates what can be released or not. trump is destroying the country in the small and in the big
