Star Wars: Skeleton Crew is off to a great start, and with a stellar list of directing talent attached, I can’t wait for more.
An 80s Amblin adventure spin on a flailing franchise that clearly needed an injection of fun.
It’s also one of the prettiest shows they’ve made, second to Andor of course.

More amazing news, as today we found out that ‘Victory To The Mimers’ is longlisted for 4 awards at this years British Short Film Awards, including ‘Best British Short Film’ 🏆

As a self-funded independent short, we’re absolutely over the moon with our festival run so far ❤️

Very pleased that our short film ‘Victory to the Mimers’ is up for Best Film at this year’s Short Film Awards and I’m also up for Best Actor and Lee Ingleby for Best Supporting Actor.

I’m honestly expecting the Jaguar rebrand (and accompanying hyper-nonsensical brand film) to be revealed as a hilarious press stunt for a reboot of a show like Nathan Barley or Brass Eye.
It has Armando Iannucci, Chris Morris and Charlie Brooker written all over it.
It just can’t be real. Surely.

This was 1st time (with my debut short) and I was blown away by the ASFF team.

In what is still a tough time for the Arts, and with so many artists, venues and festivals buckling under the pressure, it’s never been more vital to see festivals like this one flourish and garner such turnouts.

Had the best time at this year’s Aesthetica Short Film Festival, also being nominated for ‘Best Comedy’.
A whirlwind of film, Q&As and exploring. And copious Yorkshire Puds and Tea, obvs.

Playing on a huge screen to a sold out crowd of 150+ laughing strangers, is a memory I’ll cherish.
