Fantastic to see a Turtle Dove today at Halforth Farm. Flew into a sycamore on the strong westerly wind, and gave nice views for a short time before heading off strongly east. Common Tern in area along with the long staying Black Terns.

Trying to ID this call heard on Saturday night at about 22:40 in Kendal, Cumbria? Heard 4-5 times calling as it headed north quite close. Single call at 19 seconds. Sought advise locally, but no conclusive ID #nocmig #ukbirding
